About Elitmus pH Test
The company laid its foundation in 28th of March in 2005 by the former employees of Infosys. This was the one who promoted IT recruitment with associating 53 companies for the examination. This complete competitive examination includes the recruitment from companies like Accenture services, mind tree limited, Dell, collabera, McAfee, GE and much more. The elitmus examination is based on a professional aptitude council that was launched in May 2010.
The elitmus test is also called as “Hiring Potential Test”, which is divided into 3 parts:-
- Quantitative sections
- verbal section
- reasoning section
After the exams, the results are declared in two basic formats. These are called percentile score and total score. The companies call the test takers for interviews on the basis of pH score and their own criteria. Around 62,000 candidates and more take on the test every year across 37 cities of India.Marking category
Looking through the expected percentile based on the marking, we can say
- 30 marks scored is equivalent to 70 percentile.
- 40 marks equivalent to 80 percentile.
- 50 marks equivalent to 90 percentile.
- 60 marks equivalent to 95 percentile.
For those scoring 60 marks are going to score a perfect percentile between 95 to 100.
elitmus Negative marking
With the set of questions containing 60 questions these need to be solved by 120 minutes. If you are giving a wrong attempt then you will be marked negative with 25 % of the wrong attempt.
